Experienced and all-round senior level UX designer / Front-end Developer with over 20 years of experience gained at various UX / Front-end Development service providers and clients.
Extensive experience gained at different types of organizations through various (interim) assignments within various sectors such as Government, Education, Energy and Healthcare. This combination of extensive experience and expertise translates into a broad deployability where customer needs are always central and customer expectations are exceeded.
The passion for graphic design and user experience is reflected in every delivery, resulting in state-of-the-art projects. Characteristic qualities are precise and focused as well as good communication skills with a can-do mentality.
At Work
I’ve worked for a lot of big-name companies, and worked on international projects with multidisciplinary teams. I ask a lot of questions to understand the problems my clients want to solve and the goals they want to achieve.
I create wireframes or prototypes that aim to address those goals. These designs get turned into visual interfaces, sometimes with subtle motion effects, to be prototyped and tested with real people.
As a designer, I’m passionate about solving tough customer problems by combining thoughtful research, clever technology and beautiful design.

What brings me joy
I love watching various sports. But mostly I am a huge soccer fanatic and I like to watch F1. I never decide on an empty stomach so what brings me joy is a good meal, especially home made Surinamese Javanese food, but every now and then I treat myself with a T-Bone Steak. In addition, I am a passionate music lover and I like to listen to Oldskool hip hop, 90s R&B and Carl Cox (oh yes oh yes oh yes)
